As you are here, you have probably heard of Marie Kondo. Perhaps you caught her series on Netflix ‘Tidying Up with Marie Kondo’.
I first read her book, ‘The Life Changing Magic of Tidying’ a few years ago and though I don’t follow her methods to a T, I took a lot away from it and it definitely gave me the decluttering bug.

They are so many benefits to living a clutter free life. I’m not exactly where I want to be yet. But the changes I’ve made over the past few years have made a massive difference to my everyday life.

You don’t have to do everything she says, though you can of course if you want to! But either way I think you’ll reap the benefits.
There are lots of things in there that are a bit ‘fluffy’ for my personal tastes such as saying thank you to objects etc. That’s not to say that there isn’t some really useful techniques in there though.
One of the biggest differences to my life as a result of this book was my take on paperwork. I was drowning in the stuff. But this booked helped me to view it completely differently and get it to a manageable place.
